  1. Stopwatch is a time tracking and invoice generation application
  2. currently in use by a number of NEXTSTEP consultants to automate their
  3. client billing. It should be of interest to anyone who bills hourly
  4. for their time.

  6. Stopwatch allows you to track time and expenses by entering them
  7. manually, and to automatically track time spent on the computer, by
  8. simply clicking a start/stop button.
  9.  
  10. Invoice generation is remarkably simple. You create RTF "template"
  11. files for invoice detail, expenses and overall invoice, using simple
  12. pre-defined keywords, such as [rate] and [hours]. New RTF files are
  13. generated by passing the information from the time and expense
  14. database through these templates.

  16. In inspector window allows you to define client information (e.g.
  17. contact name, address, billing rate) and to view and edit data on
  18. working sessions or expenses.

  20. The app includes on-line help.
